Terms of Service

Linqq is an opportunity network for independent, licensed beauty professionals. Through the Service you can discover and post opportunities — including chairs, suites, stations, and treatment rooms to rent or host; gigs and help-wanted work; classes and education; networking events; and “opening soon” announcements — message other users, maintain a profile, and pass opportunities along to others (“linqq it forward”).

Linqq is a venue that connects people. We are not a party to, and do not participate in, the dealings, agreements, rentals, bookings, employment, or transactions between users. We do not act as a broker, agent, employer, or staffing agency for any user.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older, that you can form a binding contract with Linqq, and that your use complies with all applicable laws. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.

You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at skxflute@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

You retain ownership of the content you submit — including listings, profile details, photos, and messages (“Your Content”). You grant Linqq a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute Your Content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for Your Content, and you represent that you have the rights to submit it and that it is accurate and not unlawful, misleading, or infringing. You are responsible for holding any licenses, permits, permissions, and insurance required for the opportunities you post or accept. Linqq does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, safety, or legality of any listing or content.

Some listings on the Service are created by members; others are aggregated from third-party sources and are labeled with their source. Aggregated listings are provided for convenience “as is,” are not created, endorsed, or verified by Linqq, and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Any dealings you have based on an aggregated listing are between you and the relevant third party, at your own risk. You should independently verify any listing before relying on it.

You agree not to:

• post false, misleading, fraudulent, discriminatory, harassing, or unlawful content;
• impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your credentials, license, or affiliation;
• use the Service to spam, solicit off-topic, or harvest other users’ information;
• scrape, copy, or republish content from the Service except as expressly permitted;
• interfere with or attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Service; or
• violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are harmful to users or to Linqq — including listings that violate these Terms.

Any rental, booking, hiring, class, event, payment, or other arrangement is solely between the users involved. Linqq does not process payments and is not responsible for, and makes no warranty about, any user, listing, or transaction. You are responsible for evaluating who you deal with and for your own agreements, payments, taxes, insurance, licensing, and compliance. We strongly encourage you to use your own judgment and to confirm the identity, licensing, and suitability of anyone you engage with.

Linqq does not guarantee that any user is who they claim to be or that any user holds a valid license or credential. Any verification indicators we may display are limited, may be inaccurate, and are not a guarantee. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence.

The Service is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce fees for some features in the future; if we do, we will provide notice and you will not be charged without your agreement.

The Service, including its name, logo, design, and software, is owned by Linqq and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information. By using the Service you consent to those practices.

The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any listing, user, or opportunity is accurate, available, safe, or suitable. You use the Service at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Linqq and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Linqq and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, your dealings with other users, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at skxflute@gmail.com and try to resolve the dispute informally. Any dispute that is not resolved will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Linqq regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
